It’s an affordable way of getting distributed audio in your house according to Slashgear, but the review is generally muted.

“Sound quality, despite only having a mono speaker, is reasonable, with fair bass reproduction and clear vocals.”

“As I said, though, it’s a minor point; the iRadio is generally very good at what it does.”

It’s a mixed story when Pc Pro takes a look at the Terratec Noxon iRadio.

“Overall, the iRadio is ideal for streaming your music library wirelessly, or listening to internet radio or podcasts. However, the poor display and annoying design foibles mean we can’t quite recommend it at this price.”

Like many WiFi radios, retro is the name of the game when it comes to design and the iRadio is no different.

“At first glance we were a little taken aback at the design of the iRadio. Instead of modern-day minimalism, its white steel exterior and silver buttons carry a 1950′s feel.”

However, all in all it’s a positive picture.

“The Terratec Noxon iRadio is surprisingly easy to set up and boasts good sound quality from internet radio and music streamed from a PC.”
