We’re all about WiFi radios here, but we like to see devices that stream audio from the net whilst appealing to owners of the most popular portable music device out there, the iPod.

Terratec’s Noxon 2 music streamer does just that, combining a quality internet radio with a top-mounted dock for the iPod.

Like its little brother the Noxon iRadio you get 10,000 internet radio stations, pre-organised by genre and location as well as a pod cast directory.

There are stereo speakers and a 3-inch 10W subwoofer, but if you want to you can connect to an external amplifier via lineout or headphone jacks.

The Noxon 2 also has a USB port so you can connect a USB-enabled hard drive and stream music off that.

Terratec have priced it at €349 (around £200).
