Sangean has sent us word of two new internet radios which will be available at the end of April 2008.
The WFR-1 is a typical Sangean table-top effort with a wooden case that we suspect provides a good sound quality. There is the usual mix of features including, of course, internet radio, the ability to stream music from your PC and an FM radio. The WDR-1D model comes with DAB which seems to be becoming a more common feature in WiFi radios these days. The WFR-1 will retail for around $350.
The WFT-1 is a more interesting product, principally because of its form-factor - that of a HiFi component. The feature set is identical to that of its table-top cousin (although we can't see any mention of a DAB option). The price, again, is $350.
