Apple have arranged one of their traditional showy product launches for later today, but as usual, details of what might be revealed are being guarded closely.
However, as is normal, a variety of rumours, usually emanating from the Far East where the majority of Apple components are sourced, give us some tantalising clues about what might happen later this evening.
As far as this organ is concerned only one rumour catches our eye and that concerns the possibility of a WiFi enabled iPod.
With WiFi comes internet radio and an interesting titbit suggests that it will be tied into iTunes in a way that allows users to purchase tracks that they have just heard online.
We won't speculate any more, but we will be watching eagerly later on today when Steve Jobs takes the stage.
