"A new type of integration with online radio stations"

Wired News is reporting on startup tech company Broadband Instruments and their forthcoming entry into the portable media player market.

Details are sketchy at the moment, but the story cuaght our eye because of two vague claims regarding the streaming of internet radio stations straight to the WiFi enabled device.

Support for WiFi radio is refered to as "internet radio ecosystem" with "a new type of integration with online radio stations".

What that means is anybody's guess, but we'll be keeping an eye on this interesting sounding product over the next few months.
