Reviewers are never satisfied with any internal speakers in anything anyhow. This unit, being a component only allows the owner to decide what level of speaker output quality/portability he wants and at a nice price point. Inclusion of even mediocre speakers would significantly increase the footprint and the price tag. I don’t see the omission of internal speakers as any kind of shortcoming.
